Geoweb Cellular
Confinement System
A Cellular Confinement System is a multi-component system that can be engineered to improve the performance of infill materials in earth retention structures, slope protection and erosion control, channel lining, ground stabilization or porous paving applications. |
 | |
1. The
presto Geoweb is the honeycomb like plastic structure. Applied in
conjunction with a wide variety of other components such as anchors,
clips, tendons, geotextiles, etc. a Cellular Confinement System is
implemented. |
 | |
2. Infill options of the Geoweb cellular confinement system include soil, |
 | |
3. stone, a soil/stone combination, |
 | |
4. or concrete. |
 | |
5. Unexpanded Geoweb panels are delivered on pallets. |
 | |
6. The Geoweb panels are expanded for application. |
 | |
7. The Geoweb panels come in different sizes and configurations and there are different cell sizes available also. |
 | |
8. Geoweb is available in different heights as well. |
 | |
9. Perforated cell walls can enhance cellular confinement performance by providing mechanical lock up of infill material, cross-cell flow of water and nutrients and cross-cell root lock up. |
The Geoweb Cellular Confinement
System is generally utilized for one of four types of applications:

Load Support
Earth Retention

Slope Protection
Channel Protection
