Geoweb Cellular Confinement System

A Cellular Confinement System is a multi-component system that can be engineered to improve the performance of infill materials in earth retention structures, slope protection and erosion control, channel lining, ground stabilization or porous paving applications.

1.  The presto Geoweb is the honeycomb like plastic structure. Applied in conjunction with a wide variety of other components such as anchors, clips, tendons, geotextiles, etc. a Cellular Confinement System is implemented.

2. Infill options of the Geoweb cellular confinement system include soil,

3. stone, a soil/stone combination,

4. or concrete.

5. Unexpanded Geoweb panels are delivered on pallets.

6. The Geoweb panels are expanded for application.

7. The Geoweb panels come in different sizes and configurations and there are different cell sizes available also.

8. Geoweb is available in different heights as well.

9. Perforated cell walls can enhance cellular confinement performance by providing mechanical lock up of infill material, cross-cell flow of water and nutrients and cross-cell root lock up.

The Geoweb Cellular Confinement System is generally utilized for one of four types of applications:

                            Load Support                                       Earth Retention

                        Slope Protection                                        Channel Protection
