Applied Polymer Systems PAM

ACF Environmental offers Applied Polymer System’s (APS) line of soil specific tailored polyarylamide co-polymer powders, emulsions and Floc Logs that reduce initial erosion and removes fine particles from storm water run off. APS products are particularly effective in treating troublesome colloidal clays which tend to stay in solution and cause cloudy discharges.

1. APS Polyacrylamide (PAM) products are environmentally safe, water-soluble polymer flocculants that reduce soil erosion and turbidity in storm water runoff.

2. Polyacrylamide has been tested, evaluated and used for decades in agricultural applications.

3. APS Siltstop powders and emulsion can be applied wet or dry to the disturbed soil surface to prevent erosion from taking place. This proactive approach is extremely effective.

4. While they can be used alone, APS Floc Logs generally represent the second phase of a “belt and suspenders” approach to PAM implementation.

5. APS PAM co-polymers are a powerful tool to use in erosion prevention and sediment control applications.

6. There are a number of different materials and designs that can enhance the performance of APS PAM. Please contact Warren Cohn, CPESC at 888-856-4505 or wcohn@acfenvironmental.com for more information on the "systems" approach to utilizing APS PAM.
